Making you much more in tune with the previous title holder. Where an items not only grants power and physical change, but brings on previous memories as well. I cant think of anything that actually uses this concept but I know it's been done before. If you have a new yoshi each time are scars and things of the sort trasnferred with the sword as well? The one thing that would completely nullify that theory is the mechanical arm. B) & rivalries (Bryan) through several iterations of the character. This would allow him to keep previously friendships(Dr. Thus Yoshimitsu never actually dies, and continues on in spirit & body. Each time the sword is passed then those memories are also transfered to the weapons wielder. It never occured to me until now, but what if the sword being passed holds memories and the like. I believe each Yoshi is indeed a different character in each iteration of the game. They're all human, they're just REALLY into infusing technology into their bodies to enable better armor and swordplay. SC1-4 version is the original ancestor, 5 is the Successor, and the Tekken version is a descendant. So Yoshimitsu is portrayed as three people. This is why his armor becomes more elaborate: it's not about defense, it's more about using technology to enable crazier swordplay. You know how he has that crazy wooden arm with the odd gears in SC? Well, because Tekken takes place in the far future, he is now able to take things beyond "crazy gear arm". The Yoshimitsu featured in Tekken is not the same man: he is the new leader of the Manji, so he has become Yoshimitsu. So the Yoshimitsu in SC5 is the first descendant. Before he is killed off he manages to cut off the arm of that disciple. He selects one of his disciples to fight him to be the next Yoshimitsu. Before SC5 takes place, he realizes he is too old and injured to contain the evil powers of his blade.
TEKKEN 7 YOSHIMITSU SKIN
In SC1, he exposes a minimal amount of skin but he is definitely regarded as human. I know this is old but I didn't see a certain answer here.
